My thought for life

It's another Thursday, right here behind my working desk, I am sitting, enjoying my initial weeks of working life. I start thinking of many things in life, questioning things in life, how, why, when, where, does it happen? I am still looking for an answer that I believe when I found it, I achieved the goal in my life. The biggest question I never stop asking is what is the purpose of my life. Why am I doing this and that, living like all others did, is that how life should be? I know everybody might ask the same question as I do so much of it in this life. It is so easy to tell yourself "Darry, live your life with purpose!".

How can I find what is my purpose of life when I don't even know if I am living it in a right way. The determination of right or wrong is depending on the commonality, what people mostly do is right and what people don't do is wrong but is it the way you decide it? Everyone in this world was born with their own purpose, that is why everyone is created different from others. Therefore, how could you decide if thing is right or wrong based on what others have decided? I am disagree if you get to say things are right just because others think it is right, there should be more reason behind it.

I am questioning life, not because I am not grateful of this life. In fact, I could not be more grateful that I was born so special in my way and I have to walk through this life's path which, I believe, happened for good. The purpose I am questioning this life is, nonetheless, seeking for the essence of this life. It is so much important for me to decide where my life will go, where am I heading to, what am I going to do next? After a long conversation with my mom last night, I realized that I am no longer a kid, though I always be a son to my mom, I have to determine this life on my own. It is me to decide and make a call for this life. Am I living it like others or Am I wanting to make something different? My mom clearly told me that she does not have the ability to intervene on my decision. I shall decide it for my own.

I am not trying to be arrogant by not wanting live my life like others or criticizing what people commonly do, there is something inside me that whispering and giving me the idea of asking all these questions. It is like a voice that interrogating me, keeping me on searching the answer to those questions. I have to go through more journey of this life so I can find the answer. I need more lessons for me to live my life with. May be it is different, the way I see my life, and what others see their life, but I believe there is one similarity, the link that connecting all people. That link is humanity. No matter how is your life different, you are still a human. On that basis, I believe everybody is on their own track of life as I am.

My Mom

One Shall Not?

"One shall not." Everyone must ever heard this phrases almost everyday. There is a rules that bordered human from doing things that breaking the rules. Here come the term "One Shall not". Human had to be bind by law. If not, there will be a chaos. Aesthetically, human were created with all sorts of abilities, feelings, thoughts, and emotions that differentiate it from the other creatures. Each human is created special and difference one from the others. Even the identical twins are difference. 

Meaning to say, everyone is unique on his way. So nobody may say that one is better than the others. If there is no term "One shall not" which mean everyone can do everything without any limitations, there will be a chaos. People may fight against others, the worst it endless world war. The world may at least in a little peace because of the laws, rules, and regulations we had. Imagine if the only rules in the world is the jungle law, the strongest rules. 

People will kill each other, fighting for power, even tough it is happening, can you imagine how worst would that be if people is absolutely free. That is why there is no total freedom. Even democratic State (what they  branded themselves) such as United States is not giving absolute freedom to the people. Freedom is make sense in certain way that could be controlled. Uncontrolled freedom will bring conflict instead of peace.

Why do not you make yourself a simple rule so that you could have life principle that will guide and lead?

Boy or Man?

            Well, Let’s start this story with a feeling. All human being have feeling, despite of their age, gender, social status, or whatever it is. Human was created with feeling that able to describe happiness, sadness, madness, and so on. Any act deliver by anyone towards someone will bring the feeling along. Why am I so definitive tonight? I guess It has been a while since my last post in this blog. All actions will carry out a reaction that is the law of physics, when a person perform one action will involve their feeling, it depends on how much do one make feeling as part of the action they carried out. In reply, the object of an action will certainly give a reaction that will involve feeling as well. In short, no matter how, feeling is part of life. Especially for teenages and youths,they get trapped in their feeling very easy. Is it good? At the moment you happy with it, it will be felt very good. It will make you awesome, gain your confidence, and being legendary. Once your feeling is not right and did not get you what you want, that moment will bring you down, lost of confidence, and sad.

                Alright, let focus to the feeling from a boy towards girl, the feeling of boy towards girl is not necessary perform by a boy and girl, in fact, a lot of man act like a boy in the expression of their feeling. Strange huh? What the boy do is having crush on girl, kept it himself, do not dare to tell the girl, and being the “backstage actor” meaning to describe the secret lover. The boy usually will be having dream about the girl they having crush on, staring, good stalker, analyzing the girl. At some point, the boy become a very good analyzer, even better than them analyzed their studying. The boy is totally have no idea where the relationship will be heading. Boy never be serious, if they had to be in relationship, they are playing around with feeling. While man? In this term, what I mean by “man” is not a guy at the age of 25 and above. Although sometime the people at that age looks like matured but it is not necessary. Some people still acting like boys in their feeling at their 30’s. The “man” is someone who really know what are they doing, if they have feeling, they prefer to express it. “Say it”, that is what the “man” does. The “man” is not doing the “backstage actor”, not being secret lover, and having sense of serious and optimist in their feeling. The “man” does have a goal, has the idea where the relationship goes. The “man” is not experimenting with feeling but searching the feeling, not trying but looking for the one. Becareful with this “looking for the one”, a lot of boys using this reason to look mature, but in fact, they have a lot of “might be the one”

                The boy and The man, which best to describe you? Still experimenting or searching the feeling. That is up to you to choose what you want to be. Taking in your concern that experimenting will break a lot of hearts because you will find the “new is always better” compare to if you are searching, when the one come and you have faith on her, that’s it. Mostly it works if you are not experimenting. So, you have to make your decisions to be mature or will be still pre-mature all way long in relationship.

Perfecto

            As usual, early morning has been always a great time for analysing and thinking. In this little dorm, what a calm night, trying to express my thinking in this little space. As part of this world, human, has always been said as the perfect creation, the creation of human itself is a miracle regardless of the theory of Charles Darwin or any others. I am not discovering any other theories and not that brave yet to be a researcher to find the answer. A part from any religion or even atheist, human, are created to be special and always believed as the perfect creation. No any creatures as perfect as human in this world.

            But hold on, there is a saying told that “Nobody is perfect” but we are created perfectly. Why? Yes, at some point the world never be perfect. Because if everything is perfect in this world, then it will be too easy for human which in fact the strongest yet the weakest creature in this world. Imagine if the world is perfect, will human use their ability to the max. That’s big “NO”. Human always try to simplyfy anything in this world so they can burry their capability deep inside their foolishness.

            Back to the world “Perfect”. I am so interested with this world this morning. Have no idea why, can any human in this world do things perfectly without any errors? I doubt it, not the perfecto of the Creator, but the factor “X” that cause this perfecto never be perfect. What’s the factor “X”? That’s the temptation, why should there be? Simple, so human could dig their ability and strength deeper and deeper and one day can be a better person. The temptation will keep human on track to recognize how strong they are created and they must not stop developing their capability.

            Record showed that hardly any perfect thing in this world. If everything is perfect in this world then why should there be a heaven? If you don’t agree with the concept of heaven, you are not forced to, but just spend a little precious time of your life to think about it. Heaven is your dream and every single dream of anyone in this world always been perfect, so Heaven is perfect. Though in this world there is nothing perfect, but human is encouraged to find the perfection.
              Let's end this post with a quote from Jeannette Walls. " Nobody's perfect. We're all just one step up from the beasts and one step down from the angels."     


                                                          I realized this so I'd love to say:

A little thought early morning

              It’s just another day, another night, another hour. Yes, that’s exactly. I am trapped in this little corner called life. Was life is that narrow? No, sometime it is your own thought that effected your perception. In such student’s life, doing daily activities, studying, making friends, active in the society. Is this a good student’s life? I am still asking myself, and yet found an answer, and believe that it is. Alright, what’s the purpose of this writing I wrote in this early morning, after whole night spent on “studying” how to make goal? What’s the last word I said before the question mark? 

             Goal, yeah, that’s it! I believe that every single individual in this world have goal setting in this life. Life is up and down, hot and cold, dry and wet, wait! It’s not Ms.Katie’s song! But that’s true at some point, Life is hot and cold. The hot and cold, up and down, right and wrong, all are not releasable from a little thing called “Goal”. Life is rolling for us to implement our strategy to reach our goal. Nothing is able to run without a goal, without a vision. It’s as simple as a match between Juventus and Milan,22 players, one ball, all 22 minds thinking of a one shoot to create a “GOAL”! Then why it’s so important to have goal. Sorry, but no offense, Since it’s not a war, not a match, not a race, not even a fight nor competition but there is a loser. Loser is one that lives without a goal, and then they are not running on the track. 

           Come on, life is a competition, how can you pull yourself off from it? It’s just as simple as game. Well imagine you are playing  simple cards with your friends, will you play it if you do not have any goal? even if you say that it’s just for fun, but wait, won’t it be more fun if you have goal in that game? At least not to be the loser in the game so that everyone may plan a strategy to win the game and it will be more fun. Trust me, that’s how it works! 

         Warning! This is not an ads by “Goal.Sdn.Bhd” or “Goal Corp” but yet you work for Goal. Students, when they talk about what is they life mean to them, some pessimistic will answer it as simple as, “nothing much just study..study..and study.” Come on, is study a big trouble? Life cannot be separated from studying, at the end all the knowledge we gained from studying help us to create a strategy to reach our goal and shoot at the right point. Now, everyone in this University struggling and surviving for examination, some are studying hard, some playing hard, some do nothing. But just as reminder to keep our goal on, and don’t miss your track till the Goal reached. Be a good striker and shoot right to the point of your Goal! 

Caution! Never wake up if you don’t even think what’s your goal for the day!

Why do we have to study International Relations?

    People live in this world with many temptation. Some of them live with a good wealth, but they don't have good family or some people live in a happy family but never sufficient with their needs. People never fully happy in this world. Why? This world was built based on ambition and the desire of small party out of billions of people in this world. They make this world as a jungle where the jungle rule exists. The strongest will rule with their own way and desire. We can view it in a reality. No matter it is Communist, Socialist, or even Democratic, all of them are rule by one person. The difference is how they show that they have an absolute power. The communist style shows their absolute power openly. They don't scare whatever reactions take toward them. While the democratic is more to intelligent way of using power than the communist which more on strength.

    The studying on International Relations show that the unity of the world will bring the world to a peaceful condition. Sorry to say, it was totally wrong. If the world united, of course there will be only one absolute leader in this world. The more absolute power, the more uncontrolled it is. International Relation is studying how is the way to achieve an absolute peace in this world where there is no war. Although war and peace is fully art of International Relation through what is called diplomacy. In fact, based on the Holy Testament, wars will always exist in this world because it is part of the end of this wicked world. So, no matter how hard is the Student of International Relation try to approach peace through theory, it will never succeed in the reality. 

    For example, we take the war between Israel and Palestine. This war has been run since 1948. Many approaches was tried to solve this war, but it never succeed. In the view of our eyes, this war never ended because United States is helping Israel. There is no offense that the Jewish which most of them from Israel holding an important role in the United States economy strength. Now when the United States is suffering because of the financial crisis, of course, the fund for helping Israel is less, why does this war still can't be solved? Because this war is can not be solved by any human. 

    Only God can end this war. This war is basically about the resources in the Gaza line. Gaza line is rich of oil. Every single thing in this world is created by God. Even some is created by human, but human is totally created by God. Some of war is solved in our knowledge, but nobody knows is it totally ended or the plans for the future war still there. But as a civil society, we should be worry but we have to be acknowledge that we must not easily provoked to take part in any war. We must put ourself in the right way which is the helper to end the war not the helper to war. That's the way International Relation student should act.

Failure is a way to reach a big plan for your life!

    Human has many decisions and plans in their life. They create their way to reach what their own desire. But, Have any human realized that none of their desire will happen without God's agreement? It is the right of every person to decide what their willing to do today, tomorrow, next week, next year, even in their future. But one God say no to what you plan, the goal you desire will never be reached. Although in your view, what you have planned is perfect, but you never know what will happen tomorrow. 

  

    Just a simple story, there is one kid that born in a poor family with a single mother. One day, this kid plan to buy a gift for his mother birthday next month. So this kid who lived nearby the sea, work with a fisherman. The fisherman catch a fish everyday, the big fishes caught will be sold to the market, but the smaller fishes will be made into dry salted fish. This little kid work as a dry salted fish labor in the fisherman small house. His mother never knows that he works in the fisherman house in order to earn money for buying his mother birthday gift. The kid starts his job early in the morning and goes home in the evening. His mother is a labor worker in a factory, so she never realizes it. 

    A week pass away, The kid still works with the fisherman. In order to earn more money, He stays in the fisherman house and work day and night. Of course his mother looking for him, but she couldn't found him. One day, his mother walk to the market nearby to look for her only son. As she walk, she still couldn't found her son. So she decided to go home. As she walk cross the road, badly she is crashed by a car. Badly, She died on that accident. The Kid, which is her only son, don't know that his mother have passed away and still works even harder for his mother's birthday gift. A month passed away, He earned $ 100 from the fisherman for his effort. 

  

    Today, exactly his mother birthday, He go to  the market, He bought a pair of shoes for his mother because his mother haven't had any new shoes since his father passed away 12 years ago. He was 8 month old when his father passed away. He still have $ 20 after he bought the shoes, so he bought a birthday cake and some roses for his mother. Then finally, he go home on his mother birthday to give a surprise for his mother. When he reached home, he find nobody in house so he wait for his mother because he thought that his mother still in the factory. The sky getting darker, but his mother haven't reached house. So he rushed to the factory and found her mother labor friends that told him that his mother passed away 3 weeks ago. When he heard that, he can't say anything, he keep silent, tears comes out from his eyes. One of his mother labor friend bring him to his mother grave. He is still holding his mother birthday gift, a pair of new shoes, a birthday cake, and some fresh roses. When he reached his mother grave, he keep crying without any sound, liters of tears come out, nobody there to share with him his sadness. He is alone in this world with no family. He left all he has bought for his mother gift except the shoes. 

  

    He stayed in his house for many weeks keep crying and staring at the shoes he bought. He did not go anywhere. Month passed away, the news about his mother death was heard by the fisherman who occupied him. Then, The fisherman goes to his house and found him collapsed. The fisherman brings him to the small health clinic in the valley. When he awakes, The fisherman brought him to his house. The fisherman and his wife decided to adopted him since they don't have any child. They send him to school and love him very much. The shadow of his mother is never left him, he still remember his mother always tell him that no matter how hard life is, you must never give up. He keep studying hardly. He always encourage his selves. By the mercy and love of his adopt parents, he got a scholarship and continue his studying to the University. He gets an outstanding result in the University and graduated as the best graduand. Finally he now success and become a CEO in a big shoes company. 

  

    From the story of this kid, we find a lesson. Although you find many failure in your plan for life, it is not because God does not love you. The failure come because of what you have planned is not what God planned for you. This kid may fall down, he may think to suicide because of the world temptation. But he still remember what his mother taught him. So he keeps strong and struggle for his life. When the time comes, God shows what his planned for this kid. His mother death is a temptation from this world for him is to prepare that he is big enough to do what God's plan for him. We see that God's plan is always the best and the most perfect. 

  

    So, whatever you have planned, when you failed and see that there is no more way to reach the goal. Don't worry, that is not what God's plan for you. Never surrender and give up to reach what God has planned for you. Because when you got it, you will never regret. God loves everyone in this world. He knows what the best for you even sometimes you goes on your own plan. He let you go on your own, but He never leaves you. He always there to make sure that you don't fall too deep. When you fallen down, He hold you and guide you back to His plan for you. God let you face a failure in your life to prepare you for His big plan for your life. So when you face failure, try to take positive lesson from the failure then you will go a step nearer to His plan to make your future shine brightly like stars.

DISSATISFACTION

Story goes on...

Once upon a time in a fairy land (Come on. It’s not bedtime stories), Life is really peaceful. No worry, no sad, no problem, no pressure, no stressful life. 

But why in every fairy stories, there will be an evil fairy, which will disturb all those happiness and destroy all. The only analyze that might be the only reason is the evil fairy is not satisfy with what she had and she want to get herself to the higher position, might be the evil fairy want to be a queen of the land. She becomes arrogant and wants to hold the power of the fairy land. This kind of story is usually made for kid's bedtime stories.

If we analyze, the root of its all is feeling arrogant and too       Let us bring the story to the real life. In fact, human basically is never satisfied and keep looking for the better one. 
Since they were young, we can see that being unsatisfied is human natural behavior.  We can see how children is never satisfied with the toys they had, teenager keep updating their gadget, woman is never satisfied with all the branded stuff they had, and man is never stopped reaching for a higher position in their office. Those are all the example of human dissatisfied behavior.

Once you reach what you want, you will start looking for something better. Once you reach what you want, you will start proud of yourself. Then, the next step is you think that you deserve for the better one. So, you start searching for the better one. The scientist doesn't stop doing all the experiment, The IT Companies never stop publishing the up to date gadget, and Windows never stop upgrading the better version. 

That's why there can be a war for energy. Oil war, nowadays, all countries around the world need oil. Unfortunately, not all country has sufficient number of oil. So the country with large number of oil will try their best to protect their oil. But some of them is not strong enough, and bring their country to invasion by another country.

We can see how dissatisfied feeling lead to many problem. Many woman become shopaholics in order to fulfill their desire, and finally their life is haunted by debt collector because they can't paid their credit card debt.

The only solution for human to solve their dissatisfied feeling problem is be grateful to God in everything you have and plant in yourself that all you have, all you get , and all you own now is a grace and bless given freely by God. So, you don't have any reason to complain or feeling dissatisfied for it. Life is a gift, so all you have known is a gift and nothing can be proud with. Do your best, contribute to the society, and own a happy life.

Time own Human or Human own the time?

Life is rolling every day, day by day, week by week, month by month, and year by year. Many people are not realized that they have been ruled by the time. "Time is money", and another said that "Time is gold." Is time really monopolized human life?

For certain people it does, because they just lazy and keep waiting till they need to rushing for the time. For another group of people, Time is ruled by human. We are the one ought to wait for the time. For example, someone has meeting at 10 am, than he should make a plan, when should he leaving home? Which type of transportation will be taken? How long does the journey take till the meeting point? The entire plan must be made in order to have good time management and having an on time habit.

Whereas, there are some other person that has a meeting at 10 am than waiting till the clock is shown 10 am and he just prepared for the meeting at 10 am. This kind of person is a person who is ruled by time. They don't have a time management and always rushing for a meeting. Mostly, this type of person has a bad behavior which is always being late.

 From my own experience, the one who live in village will be more on time and have a good time management compared to the one who live in the city. The biggest the city, the less time management they had. The villagers will get up early in the morning and start their activities for the whole day.

While the citizens, the time their get up depends their working time, if it is 10, they will get up at 8. Furthermore, there even some people who is sleeping in the morning, because night is their working time. Differences of culture will also affect the on time or late behavior.

Now, as I am participating as an exchange student in Tianjin, China, I've learned many things that I never get if I just come to china as a tourist. Feel like I really become a part of the new society. Actually, I am Indonesian, which gets used to the slow live and owned a really bad habit in time management.

In Indonesia, almost in every meeting there will be always a time postponed for 10 minutes or even 1 hour. But it doesn't exist if it was a military meeting or any other alike its. Then, when I taking my degree in Malaysia, I found there is a different level of time disciplines in there. Even the Chinese, Malay, or Tamil in Malaysia has a different level of time disciplines.

The Chinese in Malaysia is having a more time punctual habit depends to Malay or Tamil as well. If you are going for a Project meeting that all the member are Chinese, never try to late because if you late, you will really shy to get in to the meeting room, because all of the eyes will looking on you.

And now, I go to another place, with a totally different living habit, behavior, and culture. China is really big country and almost in every house, the children are taught how to manage their time. Even there is a phrase saying that “A successful person is always waiting for time because the time is never waiting for and once have been left by the time, the chance of failure will be bigger."

Most of the successful person in china used to be a part of farmer family, which means that they are villagers. The farmer family is a very discipline family because they always get up on time and start working in the field on time. If they don't, they will be late for the whole harvesting process in one season.

So once if you have been left by time, you wouldn't able chase it whatever you do and how hard you try to chase it. Now I can understand why people saying "Kejarlah ketertinggalan" and not "Kejarlah kemajuan".  

Meeting Partner, Window Shopping + Culinary

Hari ini, bangun di pagi hari seperti biasanya dan telah tersedia segelas susu dan roti untuk sarapan. Asyik! Homestay saya baik benar, serasa tinggal di apartemen full service. Selesai makan, saya bersiap-siap menuju BinJiang road di pusat kota Tian Jin. Tempat ini merupakan pusat perbelanjaan. Jumlah toko dan plaza tidak terhitung banyaknya. Dengan menggunakan transportasi umum, pastinya bus, saya menuju sana. Ongkosnya sangat murah bahkan melebihi murahnya angkot, fasilitas bus juga sangat terawat.

Tepat tengah hari, saya tiba disana dan menunggu kedua teman saya, seorang merupakan pemeran baru dari Singapura, yang seorang lagi memang pemeran tetap lost in KL, yang ngurus visa bersama saya. Sesudah semua personil lengkap, kami beraksi. Power Rangers! Berubah! bukan itu maksudnya beraksi. Maksudnya kami hunting tempat yang oke buat makan siang. Dari tempat makan yang murah sampai mahal, tidak ada yang memenuhi hasrat kami. Kami terus berjalan menemukan tempat makan yang sesuai budget dan selera kami pastinya. Akhirnya tanpa sengaja, kami menemukan sebuah restoran muslim. Tanpa berpikir panjang lagi, kami pun menjatuhkan pilihan pada restoran ini untuk bersantap siang.

Kami pun masuk ke restoran dan mulai memilh menu yang sesuai keinginan kami. Menunya dalam bahasa alien. Jadi kami hanya duduk dan menunggu teman kami yang merupakan penduduk lokal menerjemahkan menunya untuk kami. Setelah memilih, sepoci teh pun disuguhkan kepada kami. karena cuaca yang dingin, kami pun langsung menuangnya ke gelas dan memegangnya. Kalau diminum masih panas, jadi dipegang aja untuk menghangatkan telapak tangan yang terasa mulai membeku.

Sambil menunggu makanan kami dihidangkan, kami pun mulai membahas masalah project kami. Masakan yang kami pesan pun dihidangkan.

 Masakan pertama kami adalah sayur harimau (terjemahan bahasa aliennya). Rasanya kayak rujak tapi tidak ada pepaya, mangga, jambu, atau nenas. Sepiring sayur hijau dihidangkan di meja kami. Cukup segar dijadikan makanan pembuka. Sejenis salad versi cina.

Masakan kedua yang keluar dari dapur koki adalah timun yang diolah dengan telur dan sejenis fungus hitam. Rasanya juga enak, dengan fungus yang garing (kok jadi kayak bondan di acara wisata kuliner ni? mak nyusss....hahahahah)

Masakan yang ketiga ini namanya tahu kuda pedas. Jangan berpikir di masakan ini ada hubungan dengan segala sesuatu yang berbau kuda. Bahannya hanya tahu yang disiram dengan saus yang sangat pedas. Rasa pedasnya seperti tendangan kuda di lidah. Si koki ditendang kuda waktu memasukkan cabe ke dalam masakan ini, jadi kebanyakan cabenya. (untuk bagian koki ditendang kuda saya bercanda)

Pastinya ketiga makanan diatas dimakan dengan semangkuk nasi dan sumpit, ditemani oleh teh panas. Sehabis makan, kami pun menuju ke kasir untuk membayar. untuk 4 jenis masakan, oh ya, ada satu masakan daging. Sehubungan saya vegetarian, jadi tidak terlalu dibahas, saya juga tidak tahu rasa masakan daging tersebut. Nah, kembali ke bill, yang ternyata harganya RMB (Ren Min Bi = mata uang cina) 54. Jadi untuk masakan dan servis yang cukup memuaskan ini, kami hanya bayar RMB 11 seorang.

Kami pun berjalan keluar untuk window shopping. Kami masih 2 bulan berada disini. Kalau shopping sekarang, bisa-bisa uang untuk jalan-jalan dan keperluan lainnya habis terpakai. Jadinya, saya harus menahan nafsu konsumtif ini. Saat kami sedang berjalan, dari kejauhan ada sekumpulan orang yang sedang berjalan mengelilingi uang kuno cina yang dicetak super besar di lantai. Mungkin menurut kepercayaan mereka, mereka bisa kaya habis mengelilingi uang kuno ini.

Setelah berjam-jam berjalan dari satu toko ke toko lainnya, kami berjalan untuk melihat cemilan. Kami pun tiba di sebuah area penjual cemilan. terdapat hampir 100 kios cemilan yang berbeda. Mata saya tertuju kepada sebuah kios cemilan korea. Hanya dengan harga RMB 6, saya telah serasa berada di jalan di Korea. Cuaca yang dingin lebih mendramatisir imajinasi saya ini.

Selain ini, masih ada satu lagi cemilan yang saya beli. Namanya tahu goeng busuk, tapi rasanya seperti tahu goreng biasa yang disiram sejenis saus khas Tian Jin.

Setelah lelah berjalan, waktu telah menunjukkan pukul 6 sore. Kami pun berpisah dan melangkah pulang ke homestay masing-masing. Dihitung-hitung kami sudah keluar masuk puluhan toko demi memenuhi kepuasan mata kami. Saya pun menuju stasiun bus untuk pulang. Ternyata jam 6 sore adalah jam pulang kerja dan pulang sekolah, jadi jalanan sangat ramai. Hampir semua bus penuh dengan orang berdesakan.

Tiba di rumah, saya kembali disuguhkan makan malam oleh pemilik rumah. Dengan demikian lengkaplah sehari ini dengan makanan yang enak-enak. Wuenak Tenan...

A little shock in flight- Ini pesawat apa bus kota ya?

Nah, satelah tiba di Hong Kong dan menghabiskan 2 hari disana. Saya pun harus berangkat ke Tian Jin. Journey start at 8! Kali ini saya benar-benar harus bangun pagi, jam 5.30, saya telah mandi dan bersiap-siap menuju stasiun MTR untuk berangkat ke stasiun Kowloon. Dari stasiun Kowloon, saya langsung ke counter shuttle Bus untuk naik bus dengan tujuan Shen Zhen International Airport. Tiba di Shen Zhen Airport, waktu menunjukkan pukul 11.50, saya menuju counter check in dan bergegas ke gate yang saat itu diumumkan telah dibuka.

Tiba di gate saya langsung mengantri untuk masuk ke dalam pesawat. Di dalam pesawat, saya duduk di seat no 8 D. Kedua orang disamping saya adalah penduduk lokal cina. Hampir seluruh pesawat penuh dengan suara dan sangat ricuh dengan bahasa-bahasa "alien", tetapi sehubungan saya masih dapat memahami bahasa alien tersebut, saya menerjemahkan percakapan kedua orang di samping saya. Salah satu diantara kedua penumpang itu sangat bangga karena dia baru makan mie di dalam bandara dan hampir di setiap kalimat percakapan dia mengatakan bahwa dia baru saja makn mie di dalam bandara.

Setengah jam di dalam pesawat, terdengan pengumuman dari awak kabin bahwa kita akan segera lepas landas dan lampu pesawat pun telah dimatikan. 15 belas menit kemudian, lampu kembali dinyalakan dan terdengar pengumuman dalam bahasa Alien dan bahasa Inggris versi Alien. Pengumuman tersebut mengatakan bahwa kami harus menunggu selama 3 jam berikutnya untuk lepas landas. Para penumpang tidak diperbolehkan turun dan kami harus menunggu di dalam pesawat dengan kondisi AC yang tidak dinyalakan.

Untung saja di cina cuacanya cukup dingin jadi tidak sampai berkeringat di dalam pesawat seperti naik angkot. Para pramugari pun berjalan keluar dengan mendorong kereta berisi makanan dan minuman untuk disajikan kepada penumpang. Satu jam berlalu, penumpang yang sudah kenyang pun mulai ribut dengan situasi yang sangat tidak nyaman tersebut. Setengah jam kemudian, seorang bapak berdiri mondar-mandir dan meminta untuk diturunkan kembali ke terminal. Seorang pramugari mencoba meredam situasi tetapi tidak berhasil. Penumpang membabi buta dan memecahkan kaca jendela. Satu persatu penumpang melompat keluar. "Warning you are in Dadar imagination world " Dua kalimat terakhir, saya bercanda.

Para penumpang pun memarahi pramugarinya, kasihan benar, padahal mereka sangat ramah, sabar, dan tidak sombong dengan para penumpang. Mungkin kalo di Indonesia, penumpangnya yang dimarahi balik sama pramugarinya. Alhasil, hampir setiap pramugari dimarahi oleh beberapa penumpang yang bawel ini. Seorang mendapat shift dimarahi 2-3 kali. Benar Salut! dua jempol deh buat pramugarinya.

Tiga jam berlalu, kami pun akhirnya lepas landas dari Shen Zhen International Airport menuju Tian Jin International Airport. Benar-benar perjalanan yang melelahkan. Alhasil setelah 3 jam menunggu dan perjalanan selama 3 jam saya pun tiba di Tian Jin dalam 6 jam. Tiba di Airport, saya menuju ke shop terdekat nyari kartu telepon (Kali ini gak perlu lewat imigresen dan custom sheck soalnya penerbangan domestik), dari sekian banyak toko, tidak ada satupun yang menjualnya.

Saya pun beranjak ke Customer Service dan hasilnya NIHIL. Tidak ada penjual kartu telepon di Bandara. Harapan saya pun pupus. Sebab saya belum memberitahukan penjemput saya bahwa pesawat saya telat 3 jam. Saya pun ingat dengan preparation booklet dari mereka yang menyuruh setiap peserta menuju ke Bin Jiang road. Saya keluar dari Bandara dan menuju stasiun bus dan berbahasa alien dengan alien setempat. Saya pun dipersilahkan naik bus. Setelah perjalanan panjang dan tiba di kota, saya disuruh turun di jalan. Saya bertanya, " ini ya jalannya itu?", dia jawab, "bukan, jalan lurus kedepan dan belok ke kanan."

Saya yang baru pertama kali ke kota ini, dengan satu koper besar dan 1 koper kecil berjalan. Cuaca yang dingin dan baju yang cukup tipis, cukup menyiksa, untung saja saya di negeri orang, jadi gak ada yang kenal, cuek aja. Tiba di Bin jiang road yang jaraknya 800m dari tampat saya diturunkan, saya menuju warung telepon umum dan menghubungi penjemput saya.

Akhirnya kami janjian ketemu di KFC dan saya dapat duduk tenang menikmati makan malam disana. 2 jam kemudian, datang seorang pria dari luar pintu melambaikan tangan kepada saya dan berkata " deraius?" Jelas-jelas nama saya darius, tapi karena masalah perbedaan lidah jadi saya maklum. he..he...Saya pun naik taksi dan diantarkan ke home stay saya.

Ternyata. Tempat homestay saya sangat nyaman. Saya tinggal dengan seorang ibu yang memiliki seorang anak perempuan. Sang Ayah bekerja di luar kota. Anaknya sekolah di Nankai University dan baru pulang dari Exchange di Mei Guo ( Bahasa Aliennya US, kalo diterjemahkan, mei=cantik dan guo=negara), Negara cantik? Cukup masuk akal. Saya disambut dengan sangat baik. Saya disediakan makan malam dengan masakan yang sangat maknyuss… pastinya sayur, karena saya sejenis herbivora ( vegetarian maksud saya..hehehhe) Akhirnya hari yang panjang ini berlalu dan saya dapat tidur dengan tenang di dalam kamar.
